Just Do It — Or Forever Regret It

Munna Monday 🤍

The reality of getting all that you desire is that, at times, it is not desirable working for it.

Nobody really talks about that part.

They show you the car.
They show you the relationship.
They show you the passport stamps and the pretty photos and the “I made it” moments.

They don’t show you the cost.

What is the cost of that dream car?
Forced labor. Long days. Late nights. Saying no when everyone else says yes.

What is the cost of that loving relationship?
Disagreements. Ego checks. Learning how to communicate when you’d rather shut down.

What is the cost of traveling the world?
Missing birthdays. Missing dinners. Missing the comfort of always being close to family or friends.

Nothing beautiful comes without friction.
Nothing meaningful comes without sacrifice.

And that’s okay.

Because the real question is —
what is the reality of your worth?

Truthfully, the quicker you come to an answer for what you are worth, then the work will always be worth it.

When you know your worth, the hard days stop feeling like punishment and start feeling like investment.

You tolerate less.
You hesitate less.
You commit more.

You stop saying, “Why is this so hard?”
and start saying, “Of course it’s hard… this life is big.” ✨

I have been a workaholic to everyone around me, and at times that shines more than my compassion.

I know that.

Sometimes my ambition is louder than my softness.

The reality of it is that I am building an ecosystem that is constantly changing — dreams inside dreams, ideas that won’t let me sleep, goals that stretch me past comfort — and only God knows how grateful I am for the ones who stay around me even when I am traveling, moody, and mean.

The ones who don’t take it personal.
The ones who understand distance doesn’t mean lack of love.
The ones who cheer quietly in the background.

Those people?

They’re rare.

And priceless.

I appreciate the ones who never put me down for working hard and try to help me succeed even more than I already am.

Sometimes that’s just a call.
Sometimes it’s a text saying they read my blog.
Sometimes it’s something as small as asking if I’m hungry.

And that might sound small…

…but when you’re building something bigger than yourself, those tiny gestures feel like oxygen.

Because chasing your dreams can get lonely.

Not everyone claps for you while you’re becoming.

Most people only celebrate you once you’ve already arrived.

So the ones who love you while you’re still climbing?

Hold them tight. Text them back. Say thank you. 🫶

I want to encourage all that are making their dreams a reality and doing all that it takes to live that reality to understand that just doing it means making time for yourself too.

It means resting without guilt.
It means never letting your ego be louder than your prayers.
It means protecting your peace like it’s part of your paycheck.
It means remembering that success means nothing if you lose yourself on the way there.

Burnout isn’t a badge of honor.

And hustle without heart is empty.

You can be driven and soft.
Ambitious and kind.
Focused and present.

You don’t have to choose.

You’re allowed to be both. 🌱

Because the truth is…

Dreams don’t come cheap.

But regret costs more.

Regret is heavier.
Regret lingers longer.
Regret whispers “what if?” at 2 a.m.

And I never want to live a life wondering who I could’ve been if I just tried.

If I just started.
If I just believed in myself a little sooner.

So this is your reminder — and mine too:

Work.
Pray.
Rest.
Call your people back.
Drink your water.
Chase the dream anyway.

Even when it’s inconvenient.
Even when it’s uncomfortable.
Even when nobody understands yet.

Just do it.

Because one day you’ll either say,
“I’m so glad I tried,”

or

“I wish I had.”

And if you’re anything like me…

you already know which one you can live with.

Munna Monday 🤍

A soft push.
A real truth.
A reminder that you’re capable of more than you think.

See you next week. ✍️✨
